I met Mihaela online, one of the last places on earth I thought I would ever meet someone. I was looking for someone just to chat with, and could'nt have become a luckier man to have met her. She seemed so sad, her nickname was Tearsqueen, and she lives in Bucharest, Romania. I wanted to try to cheer her up, and I was lonely too, and needed someone to talk with also.
We began chatting and it turned out to be an everyday thing. I came home from work and couldn't wait to see her. We talked all night, well for me it was night and she was sweet enough to stay awake because of the time difference. the more I talked with her, the more I fell in love with her. We traded songs online, because there is only so much that you can do online together. She sent me pictures and homevideos. I remember the first time she called me, I could barely understand her, but it didnt matter, I just loved hearing her voice.

Miha is a very special person to me now, to give you an idea of the type of person she is, she was having money problems, the economy in Romania is not so good, I sent her some money to help a little with what I could, and she bought me a shirt with some of the money gave me one of her coffee cups (this girl is a caffiene junkie:P), and a letter and sent it in a package. It was the gesture that meant alot to me. she didn't have to do that, but she did. On christmas she knew I was alone and didn't have an xmas tree and she sent me one. I think its one of the nicest things anyone has ever done for me.
All this eventually led to me wanting to see her, so I made plans to go to Bucharest. I went there Feb 15, 2004 and I can't even explain how I felt when I saw her at the airport waiting for me. I felt like I didn't really even know what was going on. She was there with her friend Valy and her husband John. We got in the car and I cant believe the way people drive there:P It was like a race everywhere, but I'm alive, and I guess its nothing to them.

This is a pic of Miha's son, Vlad. He lives with his grandparents in Tulcea, Romania. Vlad is 5 years old and attends playschool there. I got to meet him for a couple of days. He was pretty shy at first but opened up after he got used to me being there. I didn't understand much of anything he said, but it was ok he didn't understand me either:P He did teach me to count to ten though!!! Thanks dude!!!

This is a pic of Valy. Valy is one of my favorites that I met there. She is one of Miha's friends. She works at a bank in Bucharest. One thing about Valy is that she speaks English!!! Something I take for granted. Valy is a sweet girl, and I felt comfortable talking with her. She was fun to hang out with. She doesn't seem to have been to many places. When I was there it was her first time to the mall. Next time I see her I want her to come with Miha and I somewhere fun, maybe we can try to bowl next time, because its always fun to watch someone do something for the first time:)
